Success Management Academy (SMA)

The Success Management Academy (SMA) is a specialized program housed within Hialeah-Miami Lakes Adult and Community Education Center. Originally, SMA started as One Stop all run under adult education.  SMA is for international students between the ages of 16-18 that are striving to get their GED. These are students that are new to the United States and transitioning from their home/native education system to our U.S. education programs.

These students are under the Adult Education program. The SMA program is a two (2) year program with the focus being GED Spanish and English language acquisition upon completion of the program. These students will attend school like high school students from Monday to Friday and have the high school experience. While the students are enrolled in the program, they are assisted with obtaining their GED and thereafter helped with transition to college or vocational school.
